To make a platform accessible by:
Make it no more than this many units higher than surrounding platforms:

384 (and 832 units away north/east/west/south/diagonally if it's at the highest possible floor height)

1472 (1536 may be possible, but it's very close)

In final demo 1.01 through 1.04, 75% of the way from sector floor to sector ceiling
In final demo 1.1 and later, height will be defined by the angle you give the fan (using Raw Edit, you can set the angle all the way up to 32767)
Climbing (Knuckles)
No limit, but extremely tall sectors are glitchy, so let's say 4096
Underwater springs
Really high! Exact height depends on whether you splash out of the water or not
Underwater gravity is one-third of the usual gravity
